There were tables and chairs nearby to relax as well. It has parts with shallow water so the kids could roam (and try to catch fish!). During the warmer months, definitely recommend a shade tent! The shower worked well and the water pressure and heat was so nice. The location to the bathroom/sink/shower is a very short walk with water/electricity on site. We traveled with 5 adults, 2 kiddos, and 5 small dogs in the RV campsite. We had an amazing time on Charity's farm! Location was easy to find and so spacious. The sights and sounds are sure to fill your senses. There are plenty of farm noises and smells, as well as the laughter of children filling the air. Our dogs do bark at night on occasion to protect our animals from predators. These dogs are NOT friendly with other dogs. ***Please understand that we are a working mini farm with livestock guardian dogs. We are very conveniently located just a 45 minute drive from Sacramento. The wild grapes are delicious in October. Wild blackberries are abundant in late July and August. You are welcome to pick wildflowers and wild mint and anise. Barn cats roam the property and keep the snakes at bay. We have a variety of farm animals that love attention dairy goats, pigs (seasonally), mini-cows, chickens, sheep and livestock guardian dogs. **Firewood and Fresh Eggs are usually available for purchase from our farm shop** Evenings and mornings can be quite cool because we are close to the water. We are close to town, but nestled in a quiet pocket on the creek. Our little farm is bordered by beautiful, year-round, Wolf Creek.
